It's day 5 of our marketing to schools 'oil check' and today we're going to start focusing on social media; which social media accounts are the most popular amongst sellers to schools, and which ones are being sadly overlooked?

Q7. Which company social media accounts do you have?

Inbound Question 7

NOT SO MIND-BLOWING STAT: 37% favour Twitter and 36% Facebook as their company’s main social media accounts.

I would have expected this owing to how popular the big two social giants are. However, I’m a huge fan of Pinterest; it’s a great way to show a glimpse of your company’s inner-workings and personality which engages visitors and encourages more followers.

I'm pretty shocked that only 8% of sellers to schools are using Pinterest and i hope to see a few more of you falling in love with it over the coming months. In fact i wrote a blog about Pinterest just a few weeks ago which outlined 5 fantastic ways that Pinterest helps you at every stage of the sales funnel.
