A landing page is a single web page that teachers arrive at after clicking on one of the links within your email. It’s commonly held that your landing page has just 5 seconds to capture teachers’ attention; if you haven’t engaged them after those 5 seconds then you’ve lost them.

Okay, so social media isn’t exactly a shock, but some of these statistics absolutely are.

Landing pages containing social sharing buttons will improve your average click-through rate from 2.4% to 6.2%. That equates to a massive 158% increase in your click-through rates, and if the teacher then chooses to ‘Like’ or ‘Follow’ you, you’ve got a new channel of communication opened up for you.
